Beautiful morning at the local. It was overcast, a bit misty and cold as I suited up, then crystal clear beauty as I caught a whitwater ride in an hour or so later.
As usual these days, I was denied a couple times on the way out, but persisted and eventually found my way. The water wasn’t glassy, but not too far off. There seemed to be a groundswell set every 10 minutes or so that would put enough fear in me to keep me pretty off balance. In general, the waves were just about perfect, but I couldn’t find a groove… Next time
